Will the rebuilt battery work with my current charger? Yes, it will work with your charger, when you receive your battery back you do still need to charge it up before use though

How long does it take to get a battery pack rebuilt? From you shipping it to us it will take approximately 10 working days before you receive it back

Do the Battery Dr prices include return shipping? Yes, you pay to ship us your dead batteries, we rebuild them and then ship them back to you

Is there any warranty on the rebuilt batteries? Our rebuilds offer a 90 day workmanship warranty and you are also covered under the 30 day buy back guarantee
Any physical damage will not be covered. For example if you leave your battery in the charger and it melts down, the battery and the charger are not under warranty or if you drop a battery pack off a roof ( I have done this!) the battery will not be covered under warranty.

Are there any battery's that you don't rebuild? Yes.  We do not rebuild the stick style Makita 7.2, 9.6, and 12 volt batteries.  Also the recessed case 7.2, and 9.6 Makita.
If a battery case doesnt have screws to disasemble it that it will have to be cut.

What can I do to increase the life of my battery?
Do not charge a hot battery .  Let cool for at least two hours before charging.  If you charge a hot battery it could destroy the connections and protective battery cell wrapping.   This could cause meltdown and battery failure.

Do not increase your drill rpm's to force the drill to work beyond its capacity. For example: By turning the drill when your battery is dead.

Change batteries the second you realize your tool losing power.

Never run your pack all the way down!!!  This is disputed; however, unless you know when to stop we recommend you not run your pack all the way dead.

Charge your batteries monthly when not in use.

When your battery is done charging remove it immediately or unplug your charger, If you don't you may cause the battery to melt down.  Batteries and chargers that have suffered from a melt down are not covered under warranty.  It is very important to remove the pack when charging is complete.
